Oh Dude! I've just played this, 12:40 am here in my area, it was quite a challenge and fun! you say "All assets are open source and mostly from the packages of "The Game Creators" and the BIMA & FPSC community" but I say you bake all of them together very beautifully and I liked it, running away was so fun and scary 😅😅
by the way, I've played the game on an ultra wide screen
the level itself was normal nothing weird happened, normally scaled and expanded and it was ok, loading screen though, the graphic were a little bit low quality the progress bar was expanded but its border didn't.
when the level is started the box with an image is shown which is not full screen and then it fades and the black box with the text appears and fades out, I don't know if the size of the box is intentionally smaller than full screen or not but it was looking good for starting the level like a movie so to say but the blue image was kind of disturbing to me personally.
the start_game.bat, sometimes forced to start a game even if I have exited it, it was ok just wanted to mention this as well.
about the game play, there was camera shaking here and there, I assumed it was like simulating of the fear of the creature but I'm not sure so I write this too.
anyhow, I'm looking forward to see this a successful project, I will continue playing this more. have a good time
Hey @knavels! Thank you so much ! Well, I upload currently a new Version (1.22), and I edit also the Manual (former Readme). The Engine is very old (from 2005, but tweaked until today from the Bima Devs), but yes... the basement is from 2005. So Widescreens worked, but has some issues that you already find out. 16:9 and 1080p works the best. Try it out!
About the start.exe ... hmm strange it is a normal "batch" file (what you can edit too). But i made also a minor update there, but nothing fancy.
But thank you again, that is my very first game, made in 10 months. I try my best.

Ich würde es ja gerne runterladen, aber ohne Google Drive Zugriff geht es nicht. ;)
Danke! Hab die Freigabe korrigiert, probiere es nochmal!
Hat funktioniert. :)
